The Birdcage

This one was kinda tough for me, trying to blend what I've learned about rendering, composition with a heightened use of color in a multi-figure piece. I've left it sort of rough for now, though I'll surely return to it later to detail it or improve it.

The narrative here was interesting to me- a band of monster hunters venture into a cave after a large avian creature, but the creature, while alert to them, is more interested in where you sit in all of it...

This is the first time I've tried to really involve the viewer in my work, and I'm sure there will be more like this to come!
